Partnering for good
In 2020 Tearfund began a collaboration with Eden to expand and engage their supporter base, centred around a Lent Devotional. The goal was to extend Tearfund’s reach and awareness, and increase subscriptions to the devotional from new potential supporters and donors.
To achieve these goals Tearfund utilised Eden’s Trusted Connections donor acquisition service, in which customers of Eden.co.uk receive tailored charity offers at checkout. This provides value for Eden’s customers and gives partner charities access to high quality leads from an engaged Christian audience.
Eden’s customers were able to download Tearfund’s Lent Devotional in exchange for their details and marketing consent. The campaign successfully increased subscriptions and provided new leads for Tearfund to nurture through their existing donor journeys.
Significant increase in subscriptions
The partnership proved to be a highly effective way of reaching an engaged Christian audience, resulting in a significant increase in subscriptions to the Lent Devotional and adding new contacts and potential supporters to Tearfund’s mailing list.
Tearfund will be extending their work with Eden, to include an Advent Devotional campaign.
